Google’s Project Glass

Looking through a lens and seeing things that nobody else sees. This is the new project in its most diluted form. It’s basically augmented reality (AR), but Google has tied it in with portable easy-to-use personalized location-based tech that can be worn with minimal obstruction.

 

Advertising is going to hit a new dimension with technology like this. There will be a completely new parallel world that will give advertising agencies new playing ground. “We think technology should work for you—to be there when you need it and get out of your way when you don’t. A group of us from Google[x] started Project Glass to build this kind of technology, one that helps you explore and share your world, putting you back in the moment,” says Google [via Google System Blgospot].

Well, we can’t wait to play around with this tech. As an art director… I cant wait to start creating for this new parallel world.
