The .EDU | ART + MUSIC FESTIVAL is sponsored by the Associated Students of Riverside City College. The goal is to create an absolutely free event for the community. Come experience both developing and up and coming artists and musicians showcasing their talents on one platform. You’ll have the opportunity to meet personally with the talent in an open-air bazaar format with genres of music ranging from rock to hip-hop. There will also be a variety of styles of artwork from traditional to graffiti forms. In addition, we will continue to express the high priority of education in the lives of our local and national communities. We encourage all ages to come and share their own love for art and music.

The .EDU | ART + MUSIC FESTIVAL is a 1 day event starting at 4:00 P.M. and ending at 10:00 P.M. The 2010 Festival will be held on FRIDAY, OCTOBER 15TH 2010.

.EDU FEST Spring 2010 (May 15th 2010)

An entire afternoon of great vibes, music, art and sun sums up the seven hour, one day festival held at the Riverside City College campus. It has been well over a handful of years since RCC has hosted an arts and music affair giving, up and coming and established artists and musicians the opportunity to express their creativity on one platform together. The music line-up lasted a full seven hours with flavors for all festival goers. From acoustic solos, alternative rocking, records spinning, to hip-hop classics; everyone filled their musical appetites. On top of the tunes that filled the air 1500- 2000 attendees soaked up not just the sun but also many different art forms. Giant canvas paintings, hand-carved masks, body painting, and our very own 100 foot mural from local artists kept the audience captivated throughout the day. Over 50 visual artists, food vendors, student organizations, apparel companies and more contributed to entertainment. Local favorites like Active Ride Shop and Jarritos made giveaways to the audience. So if you missed out last spring, you’ll get another chance to kick off the school year with an even bigger bang at the .EDU FEST Fall 2010.
