Chad Hutson
President, Executive Producer

As the co-founder of digital creative agency eatdrink in 2002, Chad Hutson is also responsible for launching design-focused production studio Leviathan in 2010, along with his colleagues. He currently serves as president and executive producer for both sibling companies.

A native of the Southeastern United States, Chad earned his Bachelors of Recording Industry Management at MTSU. After developing his cross-media production and project management talents on numerous high-profile projects, he landed the role of Operations Manager for leading Hollywood post-production sound company Soundelux, where he played a critical role in managing major audiovisual projects for The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, GameWorks and Universal Studios Hollywood. Chad then joined experiential marketing firm MC2 as an Entertainment and Technology Project Manager, where he contributed to video and multimedia projects for FAO Schwarz, Iomega, Levi Strauss, Iomega, Pioneer, Pearson Television and Rocawear.

Following those experiences, Chad then chose the entrepreneurial route, launching eatdrink in 2002. Over the years, under his direction, eatdrink has produced breakthrough broadcast and interactive work for an amazing roster of brands. Past clientele include Allstate, AstraZeneca, the BBC, Capitol Records, Careerbuilder, Comcast, Delta Airlines, Disney, Kraft, the Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority, MGM Mirage Resorts, NBC Sports, Nike, Nintendo, Nokia, PBS, Procter & Gamble, Skechers, and others who have been served through eatdrink’s partnerships with leading advertising agencies Arc Worldwide, Cramer Krasselt, DDB, Digitas, Euro RSCG, Leo Burnett, R&R Partners, and Saatchi & Saatchi, to name but a few.

In his management role, Chad sees his primary responsibilities as facilitating creative strategy and developments, maintaining positive client relationships, and managing the company’s overall operations, as well as specific project developments. Under his leadership, eatdrink has experienced rapid growth and successfully expanded its client roster — as well as its impacts in numerous marketplaces — and Leviathan has emerged as an industry leader in creating phenomenal visual experiences across all media platforms.

Chad lives in the Chicago area with his wife and daughter.
