Latopic winter 2011 collection

This collection is inspired by Bob Dylan’s Lay Lady Lay, arguably one of The Man’s best crooners before he went a bit troppo and Evangelical Christian.

Local label Latopic debuted last season with a collection dripping in sparkles, studs and sequins. The collection is modelled by the preppy goodness of Australian model Kasia Z, a local lass who is renowned for her lips, WAG status, and long, exotic and complicated Eastern bloc surname that nobody can pronounce (hence abbreviation). Kasia cutes around for photographer Tomasz Machnik in this second collection with a whole lotta jumps and hip twirls. We personally can’t stop envying that hair of hers.

This collection is inspired by Bob Dylan’s ‘Lay Lady Lay’, arguably one of The Man’s best crooners before he went a bit troppo and Evangelical Christian. Easy basics such as the low side singlet and loose-fitting pants are nice, but it’s really that full suede skirt that we have been staring at desperately for the last half hour. Many before us have doubted the A-line skirt’s staying powers, but we think they’re definitely here to stay.
